Easter baskets made for pediatric patients
Being a kid in the hospital is not much fun, especially during holidays like Easter. That’s
why The Junior League of San Antonio, Inc. is delivering Easter baskets to University
Hospital’s young patients. Junior League volunteers will assemble baskets with lots of fun
and colorful items, in hopes of bringing some smiles to pediatric patients who won’t be able
to spend Easter at home.
The Child Life program at University Hospital organizes events each year for our
pediatric patients and their parents. University Hospital is the only hospital in South Texas
equipped to care for critically injured and burned children.
